Régis Latawiec is Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Sales at MicroEJ. He drives global growth and operational excellence at the forefront of the software transformation of embedded systems. In this role, he oversees worldwide sales and operations, ensuring disciplined execution and scalable expansion across international markets.
With more than 15 years at MicroEJ, Régis leads the company’s commercial and operational strategy across energy, smart home and building, consumer, wearable, medical, and industrial sectors. He works closely with leading manufacturers to align technical innovation with strategic market opportunities – enabling them to accelerate product launches, increase margins through software and services, and build long-term competitive advantage in rapidly evolving industries.
Régis began his career as an embedded software engineer specializing in digital signal processing and real-time systems. At Alcatel, he contributed to early GSM developments, working on advanced voice-processing software within large-scale telecommunications programs. He later joined Atmel (now Microchip), where he led engineering teams delivering embedded software and supporting the introduction of a new generation of processors. Through these roles, he developed deep expertise in product development cycles, industrial constraints, and product and strategic marketing – experience that continues to shape his pragmatic, execution-focused leadership approach.
Regis graduated with a master’s degree in electronics from ISEN (France) and University of Leeds (UK) and an MBA from IFG Executive Education.
