This video is a demonstration of what can be quickly done with the MicroEJ SDK. This is a small Java application of an email client. It runs on a STM32F434 board from STMicroelectronics (ARM Cortex-M4 @168MHz, 32-bit 640×480 LCD display), supporting ST ChromART and transparency.
The MicroEJ embedded platform includes for the demonstration the BSP (Board Support Package), a GUI library, and Keil RTX. The Java Virtual Machine only requires 28KB of flash, and 1.5 KB of RAM to run this Java application. CPU load is at 4% with 4 layers.
The MicroEJ SDK is available for free for a 30-day evaluation period.
